Thirroul Plaza Update 1 March 2023
Following the Land and Environment Courtnouncement rejection of the proposed redevelopment of Thirroul Plaza, and the 28-day appeal period having passed with no-appeal being lodged by the developer, at this point we have had no indication of what the developers next move will be.
The TVC would like to congratulate the “Save Thirroul Village” group for their excellent work on driving the campaign preventing the 77-unit plaza proposal from going ahead.

Combating Graffiti
Local residents (Graffiti Volunteers) giving up their free time, painting over graffiti tags across Thirroul buildings, local parks and beach public amenties.
Goal: To eliminate graffiti tags from the Thirroul local area. It is considered by many residents to be “visual vandalism.”
